Privacy Policy

The short version

This website is made for parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect any information from children. There are no accounts, no comments, no advertising trackers and no retargeting pixels. The only personal information we ever collect is an adult's email address (and a first name, if you choose to share it), given on purpose, through a clearly labeled signup form.

Children's privacy (COPPA)

The Mimlings is a show for young children, but this website is directed at their parents and guardians. We do not knowingly collect, store or process personal information from children under 13. Our email forms require the subscriber to confirm they are a parent or guardian aged 18 or older. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Email signup (the Sprout Club)

When you join our mailing list or request a printable, we collect your email address (and optionally your first name) through Kit (kit.com), our email service provider. We use double opt-in: nothing is sent until you confirm your address by clicking a link in a confirmation email. We tag subscriptions by which freebie was requested so we only send relevant notes. You can unsubscribe with one click at the bottom of any email, and unsubscribing deletes you from our active list. SeeKit's privacy policyfor how they process data on our behalf.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-first, cookieless analytics tool. It shows us anonymous counts (how many people visited which page) without cookies, without fingerprinting and without tracking anyone across the web. That is why this site has no cookie banner: there is nothing to consent to.

Videos

Episode videos are embedded from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). Before you press play, the page shows only a static preview image served from YouTube's image servers; the video player itself loads only after you press play. Once playing, YouTube's own privacy policyapplies to the player.

What we never do

  • No advertising trackers or retargeting pixels — ever.
  • No selling, renting or sharing of your email address.
  • No accounts, profiles or comment systems.
  • No collection of children's personal information.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@themimlings.com and we'll take care of it.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site works in a way that affects your privacy, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
